As we approach what many would consider the unofficial midpoint of sumner at the lake, we can reflect on the many amazing events we have already had this year like our Canada Day boat parade, our first ever trivia night and bingo afternoon, a return to a very successful beach regatta, and this past weekend, another great Artisans of Steenburg Show.
Thankfully, there is still so much to enjoy and take part in, including another bingo event this Wednesday August 2nd and our first in-person Annual General Meeting in nearly 4 years on Sunday August 6th at 9:30 am at the Tudor & Cashel Community Centre, 371 Weslemkoon Lake Road.
All members and their families are cordially invited to attend the meeting. If you haven’t yet paid your 2023 membership dues, fear not as you can pay them at the door and we’ll get your membership kit to you still.
If you haven’t yet turned in your 2023 member survey form, you can also do that on Sunday, and be entered in the draw for a really great prize package. Refreshments and treats will be served and some great presentations are planned for you.
Finally, all Steenburg Lake merchandise will be available and discounted before and after the meeting.
