The Steenburg Lake Community Association is happy to announce the arrival of Northern Rural Net (NRN) on our lake.
With their first tower now live, Wireless Internet packages starting at $54.99 are now available to the properties within the range of the initial tower. Seasonal packages are also available. See their website for details.
As part of this announcement, SLCA members who sign up for the service before August 1st, 2023 will receive free installation, and the first 75 subscribers will receive a $50 prepaid card for use against their monthly billing plan.
Based in Bancroft, Ontario, NRN was introduced to the SLCA in 2021 through an initiative of Hastings County Economic Development. Their communication services include Internet, Home Phone and is expected to expand to include streaming TV. With a focus on growth and re-investment on our lake, NRN hopes to reach a larger audience of subscribers with reliable Internet service and flexible plans reaching speeds beyond 50Mbps.
