SLCA AED returned to Cochranes’ home

Please be advised that effective today, the Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) has been returned to the Cochranes’ home at 689 Steenburg Lake North Road.  Signage is posted at their driveway as well as their shoreline (the old Hughes property) in the northwest quadrant of the lake.

As always, if you suspect a potential Sudden Cardiac Arrest, contact 911 first, then reach out to Mike and Donna at 613-474-3167 to arrange pick up as quickly as possible.

It is highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with this device to save time and confusion in an emergency.  Instructions and a demonstration video are available here https://steenburglake.info/aed-usage

Thank you to Carl and Mary-Lou Stefanski for hosting the AED for the past several weeks.

Stay safe everyone, especially on or around thining ice and rapid flowing waters.
